What is Buddhism

The topic is..."What is Buddhism?" Although it's a broad and vague topic, so you can explore the topic in any way, the paper ABSOLUTELY CAN NOT be like a wikipedia page. I need to include something about gender norms in a Buddhist society, anthropology, historical context, etc. but not all the above has to be included.
