This assessment required you to provide a 2500 words essay and an annotated bibliography.
1)You are required to address the question below:
Pressures on Southeast Asian nations to remove barriers to free trade can have consequences for domestic production of staple foods. Discuss the relationship between food sovereignty and food security in one Southeast Asian country.
The essay word count is 2500 words (excluding bibliography). As you know, a good essay has a thesis (argument) that is sustained throughout; uses high-quality evidence to support that thesis; and demonstrates a mastery of the conventions of academic essay writing. Please consider the assessment criteria for further detail of what will be taken into consideration during marking.
Essays should be fully referenced and include a complete bibliography using the Chicago referencing style.
2)You are required to provide an Annotated Bibliography, which should address three readings from your reference list. In terms of length: it must be 600 words, and cover three readings – so that is 200 words per reading. Each annotation should consist of the full bibliographical details of the source (using Chicago) and two paragraphs that are roughly equal in length. Make sure you a) identify the empirical focus of the article and b) provide a critical analysis of it. There is a sample Annotated Bibliography.
