Case Study ID: Mr SA, a 63 year old Caucasian male, DOB 1/29/1952, employed as a car salesman CC: right knee pain HPI: notes onset of right knee pain and swelling yesterday on awakening. He tripped and fell on his knees the day before and believes the pain is a result of his fall. He finds it painful to bend his knee, and walking is more difficult. He tried taking two tylenol, but noted no relief. He denies prior occurrence of this pain, fever, chills, rash, orthopedic surgery. PMH: Meds: simvastatin 20 mg daily, lisinopril 10 mg daily, metformin 500 BID, Metoprolol 50 mg.
