The historical developments surrounding

Find a news or culture item from the last ten years. Using at least three other historical sources – at least one of which must be from class – trace the historical developments surrounding and/or leading to your chosen news or culture story. In total, you will need to cite a minimum of 4 sources, but you can add more if you wish. Write a 5-6 paper charting the themes from your news/culture item over time. Ideally you will lean more on primary sources, but I will accept the use of secondary sources. Things worth noting: What is the change over time? Stay focused on the theme/idea you’re tracing through all of the sources, but also be attentive to the unique context of each source. How does time, space, and historical context change what you observe from one source to the next? Does anything stay the same over time? What is the significance of the developments you observe?
