You may use the template Annotated Source List Example [DOCX] to begin your list. In your annotated source
list be sure to:
Identify five relevant, valid, and credible sources (two primary and three secondary sources)for your topic in
African-American history.
Create a citation using Strayer Writing Standards (SWS) format for each source. For help with research,
writing, and SWS format, access the library or review library guides.
For each source, analyze different interpretations of historians on important aspects of African-American
history.
Explain a primary reason for each source selection and why you believe it is a credible source for your
research.
