INSTRUCTIONS:
Using the Chapter 8 Design Sheet and Chapter 9 Illustration Sheet templates provided in Appendix F in your textbook and also in this module in Excel, create your own Design and Illustration Sheets using the garment from the first assignment in this course which was Assignment 1 in Module 1. You will use the information in Chapters 8 & 9 "Preparing a Design Sheet" and "Preparing an Illustration Sheet" sections of the textbook. All of the information in the template must be completed, so you will need to create a fictitious company.
For the flat technical sketch needed for the Illustration Sheet, computer software is the preferred method for creating the flat sketch. Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop are very popular programs with designers. If you have it, or access to it, sketch a few garments, then change the colors to show a few colorways. You may find the instructions attached to this assignment titled "Basic Illustrator Tutorial for Tracing a Photo/Image." helpful in achieving your flat sketch.
You will submit two files: The Design Sheet and the Illustration Sheet. Your files must be in one of these file formats:
