Social groups/classes can attempt to influence or shape politics

I​‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍​n class, we have discussed three mechanisms through which social groups/classes can attempt to influence or shape politics: interest groups, elections, and social movemen​‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍​ts. How well do each of these three mechanisms work? What are their limitations and possible problems? Do they work equally well or not well for all groups or classes​‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍​?
