Analyse a security problem through one of the non-traditional approaches to security studies (Critical Security Studies; Gender; Postcolonialism; Copenhagen School; Constructivism; Poststructuralism). For example, you might examine human trafficking from a gender perspective; terrorism through a post-colonial approach; or drone warfare through a poststructuralist approach. You should be guided by the security issue that has interested you the most in this unit. Outline the theory or approach, identifying key assumptions and relevant literature. Provide a clear explanation of your chosen security issue, including background context. Analyse the security issue through the approach, including appropriate supporting evidence.
