OVERVIEW
The Organization phase of each course requires that you first select a Micro-Project that best suits your cognate and problem statement. The one I chose is: The Ministry Development Plan. My cognate in the DMin program is Expository Preaching and Teaching. The problem I seek to resolve is at First Church of God In Christ of St Albans, New York is the minister alliance has no training in expositional preaching.
The Organization phase requires careful consideration, quick and deep research, and analytical skills to defend the option selected. Plan on spending 8–10 hours in research before beginning the assignment. Make sure to read the general overview this project.

My cognate in the DMin program is Expository Preaching and Teaching.
The problem I seek to resolve is at First Church of God In Christ of St Albans; New York is the minister alliance has no training in expositional preaching.
The ministry development plan is the initial micro-project that I have chosen to resolve this issue. In this plan, I would like to educate and equip the ministers at First Church on how to do expositional preaching.
The ministers at First Church, when they are to bring the message of the day, they do so in a way that does no justice to the text; they tend to make the scripture fit only the here and now instead of the then and there, it puts on display their lack of knowledge about what the text is saying.
As ministers of the gospel, they must possess a learned background concerning the sacred scriptures by ascertaining their cultural prominence, geographic locations, historical values, and transcendent truths. I will seek to put this plan into action is by selecting subject matter experts from our local theological seminary and getting them to provide the best course of action, also choosing scholarly written books, journals, and articles to educate the ministers regarding the craft in which they have been called to.
This process aims to produce influential preachers that know what they are preaching about and the background from where the story began. The ministry development plan will serve as our vehicle to become expository preachers.
