Is it necessary for students to learn a foreign language in America ?
Directions: write a 4-5 paragraph argumentative essay that include:
An introduction paragraph (including hook, background information, and a thesis statement that previews/ forecasts the main points of your body paragraphs). You may optionally use a “turnabout†in your introduction.
Body paragraphs (including topic sentences and support)
Support form at least two of the articles. Your essay should include source sandwiches and an in-text citation. You do not need a reference page.
At least one counter-argument and refutation that is in the body of your essay (a concession is optional)
A conclusion paragraph (including a restatement of the thesis).
