“Increasing women’s participation and leadership implies a more egalitarian future.” Please analyze this statement critically. Use at least 3 institutions to present your argument. 3 institutions: Workplace/Labor Force: -lack of paid leave -wage gap, “motherhood wage penalty” -lack of childcare, cost of childcare (cannot afford) -majority of women are working in care industry jobs -no flexibility in schedules Government/Political Involvement Education -increase STEM education (reduce gap in) -reduce women in care industry jobs -Maybe consider the effects of reproductive rights on education.
