Ideological movements

We’ve looked at ideological movements from capitalism, Marxism, Enlightenment republicanism, to totalitarian ideologies (like Stalin, Hitler, and arguably Robespierre) and anti-colonial movements. Choose one or two ideologies or movements we’ve seen and describe how they’re in conversation with other ideologies or movements, how they’ve changed over time, and/or what degree of difference you see between the ideology and the on-the-ground reality of these movements.
