Gender representation in News Media

E​‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍​xamine and compare how Theresa May and Boris Johnson are represented by their gender in articles from two different British newspapers; (The Guardian and The Sun) during the 2016 and 2019 election time period: July 2016 and July 2019. The aim of the research paper is to investigate whether Theresa May experiences more gendered mediation than Boris Johnson.​‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍​The essay plan and notes will be included for the writer to look at. The articles that need to be used for analysis will also be included, alongside notes/themes for 6/8 articles.
