For this assignment, pay particular attention to the guidelines for citing âWorks in an Anthologyâ (which is what your textbook is) on page 449 of the section on âIn-Text Citations,â and citing a âSelection in an Anthology or Chapter in an Edited Bookâ on page 453 of the section on âWorks Citedâ pages.

Our first reading assignment deals with the influence of college professors on the thinking of their students. This is your opportunity to persuade me, as your reader, of the value of your opinion. Since one of the requirements of this paper is to use at least one essay from the book as a source, I suggest you select one of the essays from the reading assignment.
