Enlightenment thinkers

The question of “who should rule a government?” was posted by enlightenment thinkers such as Thomas Hobbes, Jean Rousseau, and John Locke. Inspiring this question was what was the state of nature for humanity? Each of these thinkers differed on what the state of nature was before governments were created. In 2 -3 pages compare each of these thinkers’ thoughts on the state of nature and the social contract made between citizen and ruler (limit it to Hobbes and Locke for the social contract) In your conclusion offer your opinion on who made the best argument and how their views have influenced the founding of the United States.
