Classics, Renaissance, the Baroque, and 18th century art in Europe

Now that we are past the midway point in the course and have thoroughly considered the Classics, Renaissance, the Baroque, and 18th century art in Europe, etc. do you have a period that fits your personal taste? Or, are you looking forward to the Modern/Contemporary styles? Explain the basis for your choice - does it have to do with the tecnhique(s) or subject matter, etc.?
