Based on Article II of the Constitution, in order to become president, one must be a natural-born citizen, 35 years of age, and a resident of the United States for 14 years. The 22nd Amendment, ratified in 1951, limits the number of terms a president can be elected to office to two terms. Overall, these requirements are usually seen as being quite minimal. Respond to the following questions: Do you believe these requirements are still relevant today? Are there any qualifications that you feel should be added? Explain your answers.
