1) Identify a research or evidence-based article that discusses a new diagnostic tool or intervention for the treatment of diabetes in adults or children.
2) Evidence-Based Practice Paper
a) In a paper of 750-1,000 words, summarize the research findings and how they can be applied to a specific patient population.
b) Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.
3) Intervention PowerPoint Presentation
a) Develop a PowerPoint (6-12 slides, no larger than 2 MB) that includes the following:
i) A description of the diagnostic tool or intervention
ii) A summary of the research conducted
iii) Discussion of how the new tool or intervention may be integrated into practice
iv) Explanation of its impact on nursing
